Fund Development Committee Chair
Ruth Dantuma graduated as a teacher then went to Western Samoa via the Peace Corps where she taught English in the Samoan schools. Upon her return, she went back to school for graduate studies and licensure in ESL. She taught throughout the Twin cities and for the St. Paul Public Schools at Homecroft Elementary. She is now beginning a new career as a garden designer/landscaper. She has lived in and remodeled three homes in St. Paul; the current one is located in the historic district of Irvine Park. Ruth has a passion for Saint Paul, supports the arts community and delights in the imprint of the many ethnic groups here. She hopes to help preserve those places that are meaningful/comfortable to all and to green up some particularly barren areas.
