The Restore Saint Paul loan program assists property owners in preserving and restoring the historic character of buildings in Saint Paul. Though Restore Saint Paul, Historic Saint Paul provides targeted financial and technical assistance to owners of residential and commercial buildings in the West Side, Dayton’s Bluff, Payne-Phalen, North End, Frogtown, Summit University, and West Seventh neighborhoods.

Since its inception in 2002, the Restore Saint Paul loan program has assisted 65 property owners with over $750,000 in loan funds. Incredibly, for every dollar loaned through Restore Saint Paul, property owners have invested two additional dollars in their renovation projects! All together, Restore Saint Paul has leveraged more than $1.9 million for historic rehabilitation.
