Over 125 people gathered at the Lightner House, a Cass Gilbert-designed architectural treasure on Summit Avenue, on May 16th to celebrate Historic Saint Paul’s Tenth Anniversary. The annual fund-raising party was an opportunity to acknowledge Historic Saint Paul’s founders, past and current board members, staff, and all of the organization’s supporters. The beautifully restored 1893 Richardsonian Romanasque/Classical Revival mansion provided a charming backdrop for the auspicious occasion. Additionally, party goers soaked in the incredible view from Summit Hill while enjoying refreshments on the patio.
Historic Saint Paul’s annual fundraiser provides critical funding for our efforts to preserve, protect and enhance the historic character of Saint Paul’s neighborhoods. This year, the generous support of attendees raised over $18,000 for Historic Saint Paul.
Thank you to all of our supporters who attended the event. We would especially like to thank our hosts, Richard and Nancy Nicholson, for their gracious hospitality. In addition, we would like to thank our sponsors:
