Dayton’s Bluff
Free Design Tuesday
September, 30, 2008
In preparation for fall home improvement projects, Dayton’s Bluff District Council and Historic Saint Paul partnered on HSP’s second “Free Design Event”. Architects sat down with home owners to discuss their ideas and investigate solutions. With photographs, architects were able to discuss the historic character and style of the Dayton’s Bluff houses, point homeowners in a preservation minded direction toward repairs, and give professional advice on proceeding with the planned improvements.
Our next Free Design Event will be held in the spring, and focus on the Frogtown/D7 neighborhood.
You can also learn about financial and technical assistance available through the Restore Saint Paul program to help home owners restore their older homes in the Dayton’s Bluff, Payne Phalen, and Frogtown neighborhoods.
Next Free Design Session will be held in Frogtown, Spring, 2009.
