HSP partnered with local developer Eric Foster, of Autumn Song LLC, in the purchase and rehabilitation of  208 Bates. Constructed in 1885, the building had been vacant since 2002. lt was slated for demolition, when community advocates encouraged  the city to include it in a Request for Propsosals (RFP) - along with 6 other city-owned properties in the Dayton's Bluff Heritage Preservation District - for parties interested in developing them. It currently provides four units of distinctive affordable housing - 2 one-bedroom + studio space and 2 two-bedroom.

This is an Inspiring Communities project undertaken with support form the City of Saint Paul's Housing and Redevelopment Authority.
